It seems like just yesterday I got married. The location of my wedding was at the Lake Las Vegas Resort on the La Contessa Yacht. It was absolutely beautiful! I would recommend that if you are planning an outdoor wedding in Las Vegas that you have it very late in the evening. 7 p.m. was the time my wedding took place. The reason I suggest a late time is because it is hot as ever, 121 degrees on most summer days to be exact.
I wore a formal gown and I was roasting. However, once we got onto the yacht there was air conditioning available, thank goodness! So if you are thinking of having a summer outdoor wedding in Vegas remember, dress light, and have it in the evening or at night.

Getting a marriage license in Las Vegas
Getting a marriage license in Las Vegas is very easy. All you have to do is go down to the Las Vegas Clark County Marriage License Center. When I went the day before my wedding, I was only in there about 10 minutes. Lucky for me there were no long lines. The fee for the marriage license is $55.00

Giving a Wedding Speech or Wedding Toasts
Do you have to give a wedding speech or wedding toast for an upcoming wedding? Do you find yourself struggling to say the right thing? I know I sure did when my cousin got married about 3 years ago. I tried to write a wedding speech but it wasn't quite helping. I tried to just say some words off the top of my head and that didn't seem to work either. I've talk to many people in the say situation. In fact, I can remember having a friend who wished he could have gotten his hands on an already written wedding speech to help guide him with the heart felt wishes he wanted to convey to his best friend. Now there is a product on the market that can help guide you in the right direction.
Giving a Wedding Speech can be very hassle free. There are prepared wedding speeches for the mother and father of the bride, best man, maid of honor, and many more.

Valentine's Day Weddings In Las Vegas
February 14 is approaching quickly. This is the most popular holiday to get married on. Why? I often wonder. But, of course, it's the holiday to celebrate love. If you were thinking about having your wedding in Las Vegas on Valentine's Day, then you should have booked your trip well in advance. Las vegas has so many stand alone chapels that you still will be able to get married.
I've started calling around to a few of the strip hotel chapels and a few of them were booked. So if you are thinking about having a Valentine's Day Wedding in Las Vegas then you should book your trip as soon as possible.

How do you know when you are inviting too many people to your wedding?
This topic comes up a lot. My close friend and I are constantly talking about people who have huge weddings. I understand that some people have huge close nit families and that is understandable. But what is not understandable is why some people get so caught up in inviting people that they invite everyone they've ever seen in life. This is your wedding day not a rock concert. I know people who invited so many people to their wedding that extra people showed up and they had no clue. The only reason why I know is because a table of guests were left starving.
When does it stop? In my opinion, you should only invite people you talk to on a daily basis. If I haven't seen you or talk to you on the phone in over 3 years, then it is safe to say that you are not getting invited to my wedding.
If you see someone at the mall that you haven't seen in years, do not invite them to your wedding. If you know a friend of a friend of a friend, please do not invite them to your wedding.
I see people go broke trying to invite everyone they've ever come into contact with to their wedding. I ask them why are you inviting him or her, and they tell me .."Well I didn't want them to feel left out." This is not a good idea. Your wedding day should be spent with those who you love and have a bond with.

Would you rather have an Extravagant or an inexpensive wedding? Why?
When I got married a little over 2 years ago, I decided that I wanted to have a somewhat inexpensive wedding. I did not want to spend a lot of money for one day. I know I know ladies we all fantasize about the magical day, and it is easy to get carried away. And even though, my wedding did not cost anywhere near $35,000 I did spurge a little but on the honeymoon.
It is so much cheaper and hassle free to just have a destination wedding. I had a
Destinaton Las Vegas Weddings in July of 2006. It was a wise choice.
